We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Shugborough. The grounds are beautiful and there are several different attractions to visit on the estate. We just did the house and apartment and found it very interesting. Some wonderful artefacts and paintings, beautiful rooms and ceilings, lovely views of the ground, and a very interesting chance to see Patrick Lichfield's private apartments with... More

I don't usually go to places like Shugborough but I have to say that I found it very interesting, especially when walking around the house. The staff were also helpful and the ones that I saw were helpful and friendly. I would probably go again next year and have recommended it to family. You would have to make sure that... More

Lots of parts to it. A working farm with living displays. Downstairs with the laundry and kitchens. A good tea room. ots of events going on throughout the year. The Proms evenings in the summer are well worth going to - take your own food and tables - have to carry them a fair distance. People get realy dressed for... More

Over priced and not the greatest of experiences. House is a bit average and the only thing worth the entrance fee is the number of crafts going on in the grounds. You even have to pay for the car park if you are NT members. I'd give it a miss personally. Lichfields photographs are cheesy and laugh out loud just... More

The house and grounds are delightful. The volunteers in the house were very knowledgeable and most helpful. Was sad to learn that the 6th Earl had relinquished all his interest in the property More

Despite the very heavy rain, the National Trust excelled in their presentation of the Servants areas, stables and the main house. The rooms with beautiful decor, antiques and furnishings were breathtaking, trying to imagine how people lived a grand life. In the apartments where Lord Litchfield, the late famous and Royal photographer lived, it showed some of his pictures and... More
