You need to book well in advance if you are a bigger party, there were three of us and we couldn't do a morning tour so it did take a little while to get on a tour. Saying that a guest got on a tour the following day. It shows you a different way that pottery is made and a... More

How nice to see this small, but triving pottery, surviving amongst the derelict buildings of former major pottery names. They produce beautiful pottery for collectors. The tour of the workshops is most interesting and the staff are very helpful and enthusiastic.........apparently nobody ever leaves the firm ! A compact but good museum. Well worth a visit. More

One of a handfull of original Staffordshire Potteries still operating in Stoke on Trent. I personaly love moorcrofts striking designs. Very collectable but can be expensive with lots of collectors from abroad. Well laid out factory shop where you can purchase a range of decorative ware & Lamps More

Somewhat of a disappointment as this seemed mostly a small, very expensive, retail outlet. Museum was very small. More

A bit "off the beaten track, free parking, very interesting and a worth a visit if you are on a "Pottery Tour" - visit Gladstone, Portmeirion,Wedgwood & any others in the area if you go here - there are some brilliant smaller visitors centers too. However, if you think you can but cheap Moorcroft - FORGET IT & take your credit... More

My visit to the Moorcroft Heritage Visitor Centre was a wonderful experience. On an excellent guided tour of the factory I was able to see all the stages of hand-made pottery for which Moorcroft is famous. It was particularly interesting to see how the intricate designs are traced on to the clay pots and to watch the artists decorating the... More

We visited Moorcroft shop three times in four days before finally deciding what pieces of pottery to purchase. On the second visit we had booked to go on the Factory Tour. The tour lasts about one hour and is one of the most interesting tours I have been on. You see the creation of a piece of pottery from its... More
