As with many railway stations Stoke has been modernized, but NR has maintained the lovely overall roof and much of the old station's character. worth a few hours trainspotting or at least a few minutes look around if you are not interested in the trains. More

The concourse area is large and bright, and the toilets much better since they've been modernised, the 1st class lounge is excellent but there is a lack of standard waiting rooms. More
