Trentham Gardens is really worth a visit. It's on my door step but if you want a good day out then try it.
The gardens have been returned to it's former glory and it is a pleasure to walk round them. The lake walk is interesting and the large heron colony can be viewed from one side.

After walking thought the fabulous Italian gardens we had a very welcome break in DELICIOUS where we had a wonderful Cream Tea served by Sabina the effervescent general manager. It just added to our whole experience of shopping, browsing and enjoying Trentham Gardens. A delight for all ages.

I have been coming here for years usually with my sister on a Sunday afternoon. Its a lovely place to spend a couple of hours or more. There is a main building that leads onto a fab garden centre. Loads to see and buy. Some things can be a bit pricey though. Plenty of choice and they do have some...

Lovely shopping village with all sorts of shops including delicious pie shops and icecream palour. The gardens are beautiful. They have an ice rink in the winter and regular shows in the summer, where you can take your own picnic and alcohol. Lots for children to do, including a park and sensory walk.

For the price charged I have to admit I was expecting a little bit more for my money, a couple of years ago we used to visit regularly and walk around the lakeside when it was open to the public.
We have only been back once since it was all fenced off any you now have to pay to use...

Thanks for your feedback, which we've passed on to the operators of the cafe within the gardens, and the shopping village management. We still offer free walks at the estate and you can find the best value ways to visit on our website... including 2for1 download vouchers. We welcomed over 400k paying visitors to the lake gardens last year.
