Polesden Lacey is well worth a visit. We took a train from London to Boxhill West Humble station and turned left out of the station and walked to the house which took about 40 minutes. A lovely National Trust Country House in the Surrey North Downs,north of Dorking, formerly owned by the prominent Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville.
