once a place i would frequent often with the kids , not any more... alot of rubbish scattered about , lake itself is disgusting now... desperate for an update and a damn good tidy. More

Wonderful place to take big and little kids alike, loads of ducks to feed, and it's just a fantastic park to walk around. In the summer you can take a little boat out on the lake. Plenty of places to sit and talk or to play. A great place to clear your head. More

The council reckon they spent a lot upgrading this typical Victorian park and I think they did a good job. It's good for summer festivals. More

Leazes Park stands out on the map as one of the very few substantial green open spaces in Newcastle. The weather for my visit was refreshing (i.e. wet). This is a nice park for a stroll or just to chill out and relax. It does have tennis courts but they get very busy during University term time, they also have a lake with ducks, however there is not much else to do, unless I missed everthing during my visit.
