You would probably not notice the Blue Carpet if you didn't look for it, so worn is it. You can hardly see any blue anymore. So you end up with the benches and the rollup on the wall in one corner. Nice to take a quick glance at, but nothing more than that. more
You get there and it looks washed out, you wouldnt think it was only a few years old...great idea, just not blue enough!... more
i think the Blue Carpet is unique and is so impressive, all it has is style and amazment about it. i espeically like the way the benches looked like it was part of the carpet peeled back. This bit of Public art amongst other show what a well cultured place Northumberland is and i say Well Done for adding more... more
Couldn't help but feel a bit like Clark Griswold wandering out of the way to see another tourist trap. The Blue Carpet is a little silly, kinda quirky, and in some strange way, an interesting bit of modern city art and architecture.
