Painting ceramics is a fun activity for all ages and Laura and Diana will give you as much or as little help as you need to create your own unique piece of ceramic art. Your glazed pieces will be ready for collection a week after painting, but if you wish we are happy to post you your pottery. Crazy Kiln is a great place to hold a birthday party, family get together or hen party. We also offer clay workshops (including for schools and groups), a commission service and we specialise in both prints (hands, feet and paws) in clay and plaster outprints. « less

I went over the Easter weekend with two of my children, age 5 and 11, and also my husband. Great choice of ceramics to decorate, all the materials are easy to use and the process well explained by the staff. The results were fantastic!! Great memories of the children's work to keep. Also will be going again for the kids... More

We have taken the children to Crazy Kiln a few times and always have a great time. The variety of things you can paint is fantastic and really engages our 12 and 10 year old. The staff are lovely and can't do enough to help. A welcoming atmosphere - we will certainly go back again :) More

Had a fantastic time at Crazy Kiln! The staff are thoroughly brilliant; helpful, friendly, nothing is too much trouble and as soon as you walk in you notice how relaxed warm and welcoming the atmosphere is. There are no studio-fees so you only pay for what you paint and can take your time to do so. There's always someone on-hand... More

We visited crazy kiln a few days before Christmas after we'd discovered last minute that pottery (painted at another shop) had cracked in their kiln leaving us without Christmas presents for VIP grannys. The staff at crazy kiln bent over backwards to fit us in and get our pieces fired in time for Christmas. We were a group with kids... More
