This walk starts at the swan water fountain beside the River Avon and over two hours you stroll around the town, getting to see all the sights and hearing entertaining stories. Inevitably much of the tour concerns Shakespeare, but it was much more than that & was an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. I did the tour in a... More

We must have been on the same walk as the reviewer below, because it was indeed a bit cold, and it was Shakespeare's birthday - April 23. Our guide, John, did a fabulous job of making it all interesting, witty and fun. Even though he probably has related essentially the same quips and stories a thousand times, it all came... More

a bit cold on Shakespeare's birthday but our guide John kept up the spirits by his enthusiasm. He gave information we wanted to know, never overdone (first this, biggest that) fun with old and new words and sayings It was not his first time there but he acted very natural (come to think of it....) Very nice town, could have... More

Interesting and pleasant tour with a charming tour guide, Barbara, who shared information, taught us the origin of idioms and shared her great love for her town in a wonderful way. Amazing to see that someone who probably repeats the same tour every time can retain her enthusiasm so convincingly! And I am a fellow guide and know how hard... More

We just turned up at the appropriate time and place (Thursday 12th April) wanting to use the tour to orientate ourselves and get an overview of Stratford before doing our own thing. Our guide (David) was a good laugh and extremely enthusiastic about both the town and Shakespeare - very knowledgeable and entertaining. Worth the price of the ticket just... More

Having been to Stratford-upon-Avon before (pre-children), and having walked a lot around I did not think I was going to gain a lot from it. How wrong I was! There were so many things I had missed 1st time round, so much detailed history. Helen our tour guide was brilliant. I could not believe she kept both my children (10... More

Please note that this review relates to the Stratford Town Walk Ghost Walk. Don't look forward to this too much once you have reserved your place. It may be cancelled at the drop of a hat. We were left bitterly disappointed after our town walk cancelled just 3 hours before we were due to meet. Meaning we had to change... More

We are sorry that the customer was unable to join the Ghost Walk due to cancellation. They were clearly very disappointed. When we receive a reservation for a Ghost Walk, we advise the customer of procedures generally - start time, duration, cost, location of meeting point, importance of 'dressing for the weather' etc. and most importantly, explain that the walk...
