To be positive about this attraction the 'great garden' out the back of the house is very beautiful and is well worth visiting. However the house is pretty pointless, it has little significance to shakespeare, being a house that is next to the ruins of the house that shakespeare died in. It was bought by a relative but calling it... more

Excellent guides tell you all about the history of this house and the fascinating story behind the destruction of Shakespeare's home New Place-the largest house in Stratford, and the celebrity status at the time of William Shakespeare. There are a collection of lovely paintings and tapestries on the walls. more
