“Entertaining, relaxing and value for money”

Been to Stratford before, but didn't get chance to do the river cruise, this time we came we managed it and we weren't disappointed. The two guys who 'captained' the barge we fun, and informative - make a great cuppa too ! thanks guys had a good time. More

“Good fun sightseeing from the water - recommended”

We took a Saturday morning sightseeing trip with our children. Cruises start at 10.30am from the Holiday Inn Jetty which is well signed and easy to find. We took the 10:30 am narrowboat trip along the Avon directly after our breakfast at the Holiday Inn. The jetty for the trip is right at the main entrance to the hotel. On board we sat at the bow with the windows rolled up, regarding the beautiful views and listening to our guide regale us with local history and amusing... More

A very enjoyable experience at a good price (£5.50 per adult). Not just a traditional tour, guide Andy's comments about the gardens and follies of the local wealthy riverside residents were highly amusing! Recommended. More

If you go to Stratford-upon-Avon do take a trip on the river with Bancroft Cruisers. They go from the Holiday Inn landing stage so not so easy to find than the ones that go from Bancroft Gardens but well worth the search.
