This is a working, tutor farm. It was a very good tour. The falconer, Jan, was wonderful and shared so much information about the hierarchy of falconry back in that era. More

All the guides are in period costume and really get involved. A very realistic view of Shakespear's era. More

We visited the Farm and thoroughly enjoyed the May Day activities. A lot is aimed for young children but we (three adults) loved seeing the horses / pigs / sheep / Falconry display / collecting the May Pole / Archery / the houses etc. Everyone was in character which made the atmosphere really charming. We ended up spending three hours... More

We visited on May 6th when all the staff were in Tudor costume and there was the raising of a maypole, music and dance as well as a falconry display, archery, and making garlands. I'm unsure how different this is from other days of the year, but it was interesting to see the workings of an Elizabethan farm and talk... More

For many years the wrong house was assumed to be Mary Arden's House and her actual house was saved from demolition when the trust bought and restored the building. The staff are dressed in traditional clothing and offer attractions such as falconry displays. More

We went here on a multi-ticket that gave us access to many of the Shakespeare properties. Very interesting. More

Along with the birthplace and Anne Hathaway's cottage, this is a must-see venue. Plan to spend a couple of hours there. It is a great place for kids and has a small restaurant that serves good food. A much less hectic pace than the rest of Stratford-upon-Avon. More

I was pleasantly surprised at the blending of past and present at Mary Arden's House. The attention to detail was great and I was particularly surprised by the falconry. More
