What the 'Merlin' group have done here is tart up a superb castle and try to make it much more than it is as a means to make money.which is sad, because the castle stands perfectly on its own merits........very pricey..........a litle tacky at times...but if you can see passed it..not a bad day out.. more

We were terribly disappointed by Warwick Castle, which our tour guide insisted we see. If we wanted to see "attractions", costumes and nonsense we would have stayed in the US and gone to Six Flags Amusement Park in New Jersey. First up, the new Princess Tower is a total insult to customers (young and old) - having queued nearly an hour with an over-excited daughter - the overall outcome is you go into a room, listen to a tale of a princess getting wed, then you go into another room for the kid to put on some princess costumes where... more

This is a must see out of any of the thousands of castles in the UK. Medieval Castle which kids just love. Lots to see, things happening all the time such as the falconry display which is a must see. Highly recommended. more

Full days visit to this wonsderful castle is firmly advised. Go early to be able to take full advantage of all the attractions. They are all worth it. We went to Warwick in mid-August on a rainy day and even so, really enjoyed ourselves. We got there early for the raising of the Portcullis and spent some time watching the longbowsman archery program. There were two adults and three children 16, 9, and 7, in our group.
