It's run by an amateur company, but you wouldn't know it. Currently occupied by the Birmingham Rep while the Rep is being refurbished, it's a small auditorium (320 seats) and studio putting on a huge range of often excellent productions. Go in October, when Midland Opera mount a fully staged Grand Opera for one week. More

Booked tickets to the Pillowman as a spur of the moment thing. The play was in the Ron Barbour Studio not the main theatre which was great as its such an intimate venue. The cast did a fab job and had me on the edge of my seat throughout - Bravo! The Crescent is a lovely theatre and definately worth... More

Watched my son perform here in Sleeping Beauty. Great view and amenities. I especially liked the seated area in which you could wait prior to the auditorium doors being opened. More

A lovelly modern theatre with plenty of facilities.An excellent view of the stage wherever you sit.Good bar /coffee shop with reasonable prices.Parking is expensive in the multi storey but there is a little street parking if you look for it. More

My first to thhis theatre is a memorable one. A bit on the small side, but thats what it aims for. I saw the production Sleeping Beauty there. Staff were very helpful and inviting.
