We take a nursery trip every year and find it both educational and enjoyable. It has something for everyone and we happily spend a few hours there. It's very safe for young children and the staff are always helpful. More

We had a nice afternoon out at the nature centre, most of the pens/animals were on show and the staff were very cheerful and friendly. but our visit to the (new jungle themed cafe was awful) Despite the friendly staff, The "hot dog" I ordered was actually almost cold, so were the onions. Quiet Nature Centre. I've visited with my partner and while taking children on school trips. It'll take you about an hour to get around the Centre. More

The day I went with my brother and nephew it was raining which obviously contributed to the experience but I felt that it was very expensive for the amount of animals actually there. Great little urban zoo on the edge of Cannon Hill Park, Edgbaston. Great facilities, knowledgeable and caring staff. Kids and adults will love it! More

Lots of building work going on at the moment. Not many animals in the enclosures, half were empty. A really gentle place with lots of space for kids to run around safely. Excellent value for money and lots to see. I recommend this to anybody visiting Birmingham with children up to about 10/11. More
