Went to the reservoir for the first time since June and was shocked by how low the water level was. In all the years I have been walking here, never seen it so low. Many of the birds were absent. Just a few geese and many seagulls and pidgeons.
Is this all due to the dry summer?

my friend and I regularly walk around the resa,find the area very peaceful and find walks very theraputic. Never had any problems particular, people very friendly. Although can feel a little intimindated walking through the carpark area especially if the suns out ! saying that normally people just out to enjoy theirselves and not cause any nuisance. Defenitly worth the visit. It's free and great for a long walk, we have the reserviour with the city views, I used to go there when I was little to little the ducks!
