The concept is good, the execution is terrible. The scene and shockingly bad fill in disco crap music really brought the night down. Even the love music was poorly conceived and lacking originality. It was over filled and over priced and unless I can't help it I will never return. More

If you love live music in a laid back atmosphere, this is a great place. The Jam House never disappoints for some late night dancing. Really mixed crowd - adults of any age would feel welcome here. More

My husband and I won a voucher for a meal for 2 in a raffle and were really looking forward to our night out. When we arrived we questioned whether our voucher included drinks. The waitress said she'd check and walked off. The manager then came to see us and questioned us as to how and where we got the... More

Not been for a couple of years so thought we would try the jam house again. Food was overpriced and mediocre, service was slow and poor. Bill came to £86 which was upped to £94 with service charge. I put £100 down and was asked if i wanted change, bit of a cheek i thought. Band were good at what they... More

I have been to the jamhouse on several occassions however I will not be returning. On our latest visit on a Saturday the place was overcrowded and unfortunately one of my female friends was attacked and injured by an unsavoury violent "lady". The security staff were of little assistance and my friend received no medical assistance despite the fact she... More

As this place is associated with Jools Holland, I expected the place would be all about good quality live music, just like his shows, but not so! I've not seen Jools on TV shouting to the crowd 'let me hear you screeeeem'.......... The DJ played the usual rubbish nightclub stuff for most of the night before the band finally appeared... More

Visited on Thursday 5th Jan 2012 and there was a good crowd with just the right amount of people. Not too packed, many places to sit. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Group (can't remember name) were okay (maybe this is why it wasn't too packed) and played music from 70s and 80s, but everyone got up to dance and just did... More

I do like this club and the live music on most nights is excellent. I have been a few times and a once the club was so packed i could not move. Needless to say this ruined the night but i have been on a number of occasions before this and the club was great, alcohol prices as you would... More
