Tickets were purchased for my daughter and I as a surprise birthday present. I’ve been a season ticket holder for many years but a tour of Villa Park has always been on my wish list and I’ve never found the time to tick it off. We went yesterday afternoon, a tad apprehensive as my daughter has only recently turned two. Our tour guide was absolutely astonishing and made such a massive fuss over my daughter as it was her first time seeing Villa Park. He even put her very own stadium tour lanyard on her so she felt part of the wider group. From start to finish, he was attentive, knowledgeable, humorous and did not leave a single person in the tour group out of involvement. Programmes for fixtures passed were also passed around throughout the trip. Towards the end, he noticed my daughter was getting a tad tried so went out of his way to direct us away from the stairs and towards the lifts as an exception which was a wonderful touch. Fantastic value for money, a tour guide whom is an utter credit to his craft and an experience with my daughter I’ll never forget. Thank you Aston Villa and our tour guide. David and Emi x

We can highly recommend this Villa Park stadium tour. We attended on Friday 31st March 2023. The tour is a full behind the scenes experience which is very informative, interactive and entertaining. Everyone is made to feel very welcome and a valued member of the tour group, We would like to give a big shout out for our tour guide Mick Dale who is absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed every second of the tour. Thanks Mick - Lindsey & Mark

The history of the club, the facts and photo opportunities. Diane the tour guide was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. So many places I the stadium to look at, walk through, understand the club and it's meaning. So suitable for families. On time, clean, facilities were excellent, all staff working there were very friendly. Real family atmosphere.

    Fabulous tour
Great tour of the stadium . Diane was an excellent guide , so knowledgeable and also knew all the great angles for photos 👍 Having done other stadium tours this was a level above due to the small numbers each time slot making it much more personal . Would definitely recommend

A club tour made special by premier tour guide Diane.
Excellent tour guide- Diane, who made this very personalised to the group and had authentic passion for the club. Built up rapport and dialogue with everyone and answered all questions with great knowledge. What a great ambassador for the club.

A joyful celebration of a club and the people who make it
A party of 3 - one wheelchair user - we were concerned that we would slow people down. The rest of the group said that no-one had deadlines so it was a very relaxed and enjoyable time. Only one of us is a Villa fan but we all thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the history of not just Villa but football. It was so interesting being in the changing rooms and in the dugout and we could take photos everywhere.

    A Tour with the Family
A club steeped in history and heritage and brilliantly brought to life by our guide Arthur. Arthur was great, he struck the perfect balance between informative and comedic, never missing a chance to remind everyone that Villa is the better of the two Birmingham clubs. I think the tour is a must for villa fans and anyone with an interest in football history. Seeing how the club has evolved and what’s coming next is insightful, exciting times ahead. Thanks Arthur, family loved it.

    In the steps of Royalty
The whole tour was interesting, we were able to see into areas not usually available to fans and learn details of past glories, insights into the operation of the club and even the preparation for the visit of Prince William and his son the previous week. Arthur, our guide was a fount of knowledge and an entertaining speaker. There was plenty of opportunity to take photos and even act as the manager at a press conference. Recommended for any football fan whether or not a Villa fan.

A very enjoyable tour. Loved all the history a lot of which I didn't know as a local. The tour guide Keith was brilliant. Very friendly and full of info. He also clocked straight away that my lad was autistic and gave us any extra info we might need such as music playing in the tunnel. He also checked in with him regularly by name and if he wanted to join in with anything. Very impressed as other tours haven't really done this.

This was an absolutely fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable tour. If I remember correctly, our guide was called Carol and it was clear that she is a life-long Villain and has an obvious passion for the club. Her knowledge was extensive and detailed. Seeing behind the scenes made this day feel very special, especially for my 11 year old son when we walked through the tunnel and out to the pitch. The tour lasted longer than the advertised time, which is no bad thing! Every Villa fan should take this tour at least once.... we plan to do it again!
Up the Villa!

Took me 41 years to do the tour but I’m glad I finally did. It was fascinating seeing behind the scenes, marvelling at the luxuries enjoyed by the VIP attendees, checking out the trophies, learning about the place, having a nose around the changing rooms and press conference room, and walking down the tunnel to the pitchside.

Diane, our tour guide, was absolutely brilliant and so informative, answering questions and sharing her experiences of working at Villa Park. There’s so much to see in the bowels of this famous old ground, and it was great value at £23 a pop for two hours. Finally, 10% off at the Villa store afterwards was an added bonus.

Fantastic stuff.

Although I've been a Villa fan for 36 years, it wasn't until my 50th birthday that I finally got around to doing it!

I took my long-suffering husband with me, a Celtic fan, and he genuinely enjoyed himself too. In fact, from our group of 22 people, probably 5 or 6 supported other clubs.

The tour, led by superb guide Diane, was a great mix of history and behind the scenes info.

Walking through the matchday tunnel out to pitchside was amazing! Coming face to face with our trophy cabinet, press conference room and changing rooms, gave a super insight.

This was definitely worth doing and worth every penny.
