Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My colleague was refused access to a toilet because the party room wasn't open yet. Food was awful, vegetarian option wasn't enable. Bouncers were way to handy using extensive force when not needed, resulting in one party goer being taken away in an ambulance. Best to avoid party nights here and eat before you get there

Good but needs some work.
Ok so managing that amount of people is a massive undertaking.
First the good points.
The staff were really friendly (apart from 1) and helpful. (We had accessible tickets keep this in mind)
They helped us to our seat as it was our first time there but unfortunately they took us to the wrong place. It was fine though. We found it in the end.
We had toilets just outside of our area that we could use and they were great, clean and not busy.
The not so great parts, when I got to my seat there was only one seat there and a space for a wheelchair I asked for a chair so my partner could sit down and I was told I shouldn't have been given that seat as I'm not in a wheelchair. I explained I have mobility issues and needed an accessible seat but not everyone with a disability is in a wheelchair. Some days I am & some days in not, I was then asked what was wrong with me. I had to prove my disability to get the seats the same as everyone else in those seats so I won't be divulging my private medical info to a member of staff thanks.
I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't anywhere nearer to get a drink, it was a long walk. When we left to get the free shuttle bus I explained to staff that I couldn't stand for a long time and showed them my disability badge and tickets and they sent me through much to the annoyance of many a man who shouted profanity at me. 99% of the staff were really good. It just needs a little bit more thought from an accessible point of view.

Better parking and traffic control. Improved crowd control in the ground, stewarding was absolutely rubbish. Food and drink way over priced.
I booked parking through the 100 App, not cheap, the directions they gave were wrong and we spent 40 mins driving around the ground looking for it.
The directions said it was a 6 minute walk to the ground, yes if you're Linford Christy.
I had booked seats in Wyatt stand, row S. What a mistake, jt is the main route for people coming into the stand. As there was next to no marshaling our view of the match was continually interrupted by spectators entering and leaving.
The final nail in the coffin was when we tried to leave the parking lot, it took 40 minutes at least.

A good location to watch cricket. Great atmosphere. Plenty of outlets for food and drink and a good club shop for memorabilia. Gates opened in good time and bag searching etc. well organised so as to avoid delays. For a big event ground it is better than many. Now been on several occasions and look forward to going again.

Where to start?! From not being able to book disabled parking as advertised to phone calls not being answered, stewards having no idea about facilities available to being told accessible parking was over 0.5 miles away and cost £20, being ignored by security and refused reasonable adjustments… the whole day was a disgraceful example of how NOT to treat people with disabilities.
A formal complaint is on its way. A real shame as the attitude of the venue spoilt what was actually an enjoyable day of cricket.

A brilliant experience at T20 Finals Day. Sat in the Stanley Barnes stand next to the Hollies. Brilliant atmosphere and the ground staff were amazing in getting the game restarted after the rain delays ensuring the crowd got their moneys worth. Food and drink prices as expected in a major cricket ground but the water refill stations were handy.

Been a number of times and mostly great. Attended Ashes 23 and atmosphere in the Hollies day 3 was fantastic. Staff in general were great and organisation was very good. 40 minute walk from main train stations or shuttle bus. Easy access. Lots of food concessions and bars. Beer £7.40 a pint, couple of places selling G&Ts, wine and a Pimms stall. Dozens of food outlets offering all food types. Average meal is £15
Barmy Army memorabilia stand next to Hollies area
Day 4 in the Hollies the atmosphere was fantastic
Day 5 Lower South. Great views of the game. Also sat right next to where the England players entered play. They all stop to sign for kids (some adults as well) and get pictures taken

Absolute shambles of a service.
The seat and stadium itself is great. I never queued that long for the toilet so facilities were good.
There is a water station where you can fill up your water bottle for free.
I had to find that on my own, as none of the stewards knew where the nearest one was and pointed me in the wrong direction.
Waiting to get a pint, cheapest lager was £6.75 for Carling. The beer was flat and warm.
If they had any organisation skills the queues would be not even a quarter of the length that they actually are. The staff behind the bar are not interested at all, standing there not raising their hand that they are free and ready to serve.
They've changed where you bring your cup back and get your money back.
We bought a round ahead due to the length of the queue and did not want to wait another 20 minutes to get a drink and miss the game (So 2 pints each). When we tried to return the 2 cups at the next round we were told only one lot would be refunded and the others we needed to take to a stand further down. This was only once the glasses had been taken and I challenged as to why the bill was the same and not deducted.
They then refused to give us the cups back as we couldn't prove that there was 5 of us in the round. We had literally ordered another 6 drinks but this was not enough evidence for them apparently.
Shambles number two, at the end of the day we tried returning our cup to the returns area. Only 2 people were operating it and a queue that followed. They claimed the wifi then went down so could not return any as the refunding card machines were not working. No announcement, no apology, staff just aimlessly standing there doing nothing.
When I asked what was happening they replied they were waiting for a manager. Again, no announcement of this.
The manager then came 35 minutes later who said there were tills open either side where we could go to get our money refunded.
Another 25 minutes and the cups were finally returned. I should not be in the stadium 1 hour and 10 minutes after the game ends.
I'm writing this 5 days after the day I attended, and have still not had the money refunded on to my card.
An absolute disgrace all round here.

Bought 2 tickets for Finals Day in July 2022. Unfortunately they are not together (2 rows and a few seats apart).
Has anyone been before with same issue and found it was easy enough to swap seats or was there spare seats during the 3 games?
Really don't want to give up the tickets but hoping we may still be able to manoeuvre 2 seats together during the date.
One person is a huge cricket fan and the other not so much but could be going on this yeas finals on tv. Thank you

Where should we buy tickets for 4th day of WI test in June to be near where the England Cricket players come out on to pitch

Hi - Probably The South Lower Blocks 31-38 from where you’d get a ground level view of the game behind the bowlers arm. But check the seating plan on the Edgbaston Website.
Note revellers and party goers occupy the Eric Hollies Stand so avoid that unless planning to go in fancy dress or sit at the heart of the supporters cauldron!
Good luck getting the seats you’d like and enjoy what will be an incredible atmosphere. It’s one of the best you’ll experience.

You can drink alcohol, but only that which you buy at the ground.
Can I bring my own water?

We took water in a sealed water bottle, which was allowed. Others had partially filled water bottles which they were asked to empty out. There are water filling stations inside.
