Arundel Castle is a very well preserved with lots to see. I have visited many times over the years and since my last visit (about 5 years ago) they have opened up a new section showing the castle bedrooms. The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable and it is worth talking to them as they know a lot of... More

We recently visited Arundel castle on a beautiful sunny day in May, and it was fabulous. The castle is everything you dream of, high turrets and fortifications, with views over the gorgeous surrounding Sussex countryside. We paid the full amount to see everything and we were delighted that we did. The castle grounds are lovely, the castle itself is beautifully... More

Beautiful gardens. Don't miss the dancing crown fountain. Castle itself very interesting, especially the mix of eras. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Well worth stopping there for the home made food available on a daily basis. Meat pie, followed by a huge slab of carrot cake. More

We really loved the Castle and Gardens. The gardens were a delight to walk round and there were so many interesting areas to view. They are very well kept and we loved the fact that just the edges of many of the paths were mown and the rest was allowed to grow naturally, giving a lovely display of wild flowers.... More

We visited this place during our roadtrip through England in May 2012. We found it is very pricey to visit the castle so we walked around in the garden (Ł8 each, still a lot of money). The garden was really beautiful though. Nice tulips, vegetable gardens, green houses. It was really nice. More

My boyfriend and I decided to visit Arundel Castle on a whim during our recent trip to the UK, and it was absolutely beautiful. Around an hour and a half south of London by train, the castle and the town make for an excellent day trip. We stopped at the restaurant in the castle for lunch, and the lemon muffin... More

Lots to see here. We paid the full price and thought it was worth it. The gardens were lovely and we got there when they opened so not too busy. Car parking over the road is reasonable. Free buggy transport is handy to visit gardens as they are at the top. Then we wandered down to the castle. Well kept... More

We go at least once a year & it is brilliant. Lots to see, beautiful gardens and the best country home library I've seen. I love it, the kids love it, it looks awesome on the hill, the food is good - but there are plenty of good choices wandering around Arundel town too. More

We live just down the road and have visited the gardens and the Keep many times but have never been in the actual castle, something I want to do asap. Trouble is, by the time you have done the other two, we are usually too tired to go in. Need to spend the next visit just for the castle on... More
