It may be that I just enjoy this kind of constuction. I am agnostic so it is not for the religous factor I visit, it is the superb construction of these building I enjoy, Arundel's cathedral next to the castle, high up too, makes a magnificent sight as you drive into Arundel.

Beautiful building inside and out perched at the top of the old town. Amazing west-facing rose window sets off the ornate 1850s organ which was restored to the tune of £250,000 and looks magnificent. We were lucky enough to visit when the church choir were rehearsing, which only added to the atmosphere. Well worth a visit to enjoy a remarkable...

Well worth a visit irregardless of your particular religious denomination. Arundel Cathedral is Roman Catholic designed by Joseph Hanson in the Gothic Revival Style erected between 1868 and 1873 originally built as a parish church. In 1965 the building was recognised as a cathedral
and became the seat of the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton.
