At 8 punds per adult, this is a very overpriced experience. It consists of a butterfly room, with no information about the butterflies and a hole in the corner, are they filling the pond in or digging another? A room of parrots, no information here either. A total rip-off. When we visited the whole place had the air of somewhere that had seen better days. The planting was sparse and scruffy, paintwork peeling, staff off-hand. The museum was so damp it stank, with visible damp stains and cobwebs over the exhibits. A complete waste of an afternoon. More

We went to see the butterflies over the Easter weekend and really enjoyed the beautiful big butterflies flapping around the butterfly glasshouse.
