Industrial museum in an old mill building, mainly focussing on the history of the Leeds textile industry. Great old cineam 'relocated' from nearby Armley shows a fascinating 1hr film about the history of Leeds. Nice touch was a visitors book where people who worked in the mills to record their memories. Armley Mills (also known as Leeds Industrial Museum) is tucked away off a dusty car park (which is free to park) The staff will show you into the Weavers Cottage which is set up to show how both the rich and poor would have lived at the time. Then you are left to walk through the mill at your leisure.... more
