A gentleman who was working in the garden told my kids some great tales about the history and about the owners who still live there - they loved it. Saw... More

My daughter reicently had her wedding at Harewood. Everyone who attended said that it was simply the best wedding that they had been to. The venue, staff, setting, food and service were all outstanding. More

We have been here before and found the food poor and pricey, so we went to m and s first! We visited the state rooms which were fine, but only open from 12 to 3, so plan ahead. Why so short? The photographic exhibition 'below stairs ' was interesting when we found it. Signage seems superficially good but is lacking.... More

It was a nice sunny day!! Yes we had one last summer, & we enjoyed a quirky lunch on the terrace with the kites soaring up above... ... The food was interesting and very good, if not a little pricy, sort of worth the price tho. I must agree with others that the bird garden is ready for an upgrade,... More

Having been here on many occasions several years ago, I returned to find that the bird garden was very neglected and the children's playground was dilapidated and some of the equipment was out of use.I experienced a very poor standard of customer care, and this prompted me, as a governor of two North Leeds schools, to canvas various opinions on... Although having lived near Harewoord House and having been to the Hill Climbs many times though a long time ago we have never visited the house and garden. We found the main State Rooms excellent with very enthusiastic and informative staff. Well worth a visit. The Downstairs exhibition was interesting and informative but not to the same state as the... If you want a place to relax and just go for a walk, this is the ideal place. Castle gardens are very looked after. Just went with my fiance and had a really nice timewalking around with an ice cream. Had a Yorkshire pass, so this was the ideal opportunity to discover the place. Will definitly return with the family More
