Great venue location as situated adjacent to an enoromous car park and in the city centre where there are great places to have pre/post drinks/meals. The place itself is not really a theatre as such and cannot be favourably compared with the Playhouse Theatre next door. Reason being that it is clearly a multi purpose building and the chairs etc... Needs a total refurb,uncomfortable seating with no leg room.On the outside it is a major eyesore with the worst roof i have ever seen on a building. More

We recently visited to watch Carnivale du Vampire. Good all round views of the stage and a great place to see a show. More

Bar gets crowded but otherwise a great venue for seeing rock bands. Good acoustics.A bit tired looking as it is an old style city hall. More

Warm, comfortable and welcoming.We booked to see Tommy Emmanuelle guitarist, accoustics were very good, lighting too. Seating comfortable with space to get to your seats without disturbing other theatre goers. A thouroughly enjoyable experience. . More
