Just come back from my 2nd visit of Cliveden House. First time was raining and dreary but it still made a big enough impression for a second visit. This time round it was a glorious sunny day. Pack a picnic and sit in the picnic area but beware, it's right next to the children's play area and so expect children... More

Clivedon House is now an hotel but it can still be viewed as a stately home. There are very good tea rooms in the grounds and lovely walks. We always took a picnic as there are many picnic areas. There are superb views over the thames as the grounds are on a much higher level than the river. Lovely gardens. More
