We went to Cliveden to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was wonderful from the time we arrived from reception, our room, right through to dinner. The only complaint was breakfast. It was buffet style and lukewarm. We ordered toast, when it arrived it was more like dried bread, so we requested a replacement asking that it be toasted to -well,... more

The cliveden is the most lavish, so british manor house that you could possibly stay in.... The staff one would expect to bee pompus and rather stuck up, however they are far from the above and proved to be so friendly and helpfull.
