Savill Gardens, part of the 1,000 acre Royal Landscape, is worth a visit any time of year. It was glorious this spring (May 2012) with the Rhododenrens in full bloom. This used to be a favourite place for us to visit. However since we last visited theres been changes but not for the better. We enjoyed a brisk walk round the gardens - it was very cold in May! Well worth seeing though and the azaleas were beautiful - we got a taxi from Windosr town - £10 each way. More

Apart from the beautiful shrubs and flowers, Saville Garden often has artistic exhibitions. When we visited, there were a lot of superb sculptures on display in different parts of the garden. Gift shop and Tea Room are very good but both are very expensive. More

The building is attractive with good, but pricey, cafe and shop. The grounds you pay to see are expensive but the surrounding area walks are good. Good children's play area near to the Savill building More
