About
Offering far more than an ordinary cinema, our day time up-market coffee shop turns into a wine bar in the evening alongside our Circle and Auditorium Bars. Audiences have the choice to watch films sat at candlelit tables on the ground floor or to snuggle up in the double love seats, regular seats or one of our four Royal Boxes in the circle and enjoy refreshments from any of our bars, before, during and after the film... Films range from blockbusters to classics, family favourites to art house and independent. We have family films every weekend and extra family shows in the holidays, as well as parent and baby shows on Thursday mornings. On Tuesdays we host Silver Screen matinee shows and Big Breakfast screenings are the perfect start to the day. The Regal is a true community venue, and, in addition to films and live screenings from the Royal Opera House, we host a broad range of events live music and comedy, as well as other live performances.

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Stunning building and surroundings. We had a loveseat, which was basically a comfy, roomy sofa for two, with cushions, table and candle. Wish we lived nearer, to go again and againThank you for taking the time to review us it's greatly appreciated by the team. - pookarab8 contributionsA Cinema ExperienceJust come back from our first visit to this real gem. We had a table downstairs and enjoyed delicious food whilst watching Guardians of The Galaxy 3. I had pre ordered our drinks and food. Drinks waiting at our table and food arrived shortly after we sat down. Really comfy seats. Lovely introduction by member of staff before screening. Bar service great. My son also ordered a dessert whilst we were watching film - fantastic service. Can’t praise this venue enough. We’ll definitely be back again. Made watching a great film a really exceptional experience - check out what’s on on their Facebook page and go. - Ails L-G1 contributionAmazing experienceI just love this place. It’s really lovely inside, great experience, comfortable seating, table service for food and drinks which are also great. My favourite way to see a movie or a gig or a live show. Amazing. Only down side is that big blockbuster films do sometimes show a little later than at the usual multiplex cinemas. 100% worth the wait though. Recommended to anyone and everyone to go here. You won’t be disappointed.Hi thank you so much for taking the time to review us we're so pleased you enjoyed your film experience with us we hope to see you again soon.Written 18 May 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 May 2023

I've come to this cinema for the first time, as I've just moved into the area, and it is by far the best cinema experience I've had in a long time! I'm used to London-based independent cinemas, but this place has the edge on customer service! Thanks Antonia, for being a huge part of a positive and welcoming experience at The Regal. Keep up the stirling work.Thank you so much for your kind words about the cinema and staff - we look forward to welcoming you back again soon!Written 7 June 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited May 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 May 2023

- JCP44Bedford, United Kingdom6 contributionsA Great and Special Experience!Whilst visiting Evesham yesterday we decided to go to see the new Mission Impossible film. What a great experience we had, it was a fantastic building, with superb seating and very helpful and friendly staff. We have never been to a cinema like it. Sat in the upper tier, with a sofa-like seat for two, side tables with our drinks and ice creams brought to us at the time we had requested on booking our seats, We could have ordered food eg such as a pizza, if we had wanted to be brought to our seat. We may visit again on Saturday before we leave the area. We wish we lived in the vicinity as we would definitely become members and visit often, but two plus hours drive away is just too far to travel regularly. A great idea Antonia thank you!!!Thank you for leaving us a wonderful review. Such a shame that you're not a little closer to the cinema but we do hope to see you again if you decide to make the journey for a special occasion.Written 26 July 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2023Written 21 July 2023
- VendredimancheUnited Kingdom485 contributionsArt deco cinema gemOn a friend’s recommendation. We finally made it to the Regal in Evesham. An amazing looking art deco traditional cinema that originally opened in 1932. We sat upstairs in very comfy double seated sofas - the view of the screen is fantastic. They serve drinks, ice cream, food etc. at your seat if you want to - or you can have some food before. Can’t wait to be back!Thank you so much for your review. We are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the whole experience and can't wait to see you again! - adele h1 contributionAn unforgetable Night OutStunning unique Cinema with delightful seating areas and fantastic views to the stage. It felt like we were in the comfort of my own lounge at home , yet a night out never to forget. The drinks we pre ordered were waiting for us at the table as we arrived and the food delivered a little later was superb. We were greeted by enthusiastic staff with warm smiles and who helped start the evening off with a giggle. Nothing was too much for them , the service was second to none. I cant recommend The Regal Cinema experience enough . We wouldnt go anywhere else for a night out, and cant wait for our next Regal Outing to a show later this month.Thank you so much for your kind words about our cinema, we appreciate it so very much! We look forward to seeing you again soon! A packed arena and a great band (the ukulele orchestra uk) which soon had the audience buzzing; great harmonies, great rhythms layered on top of one another, great lead/melody ukulele and of course the bass ukulele holding it all together. Good selection of songs, well known favourites in new clothes! The organisation was smooth and the hospitality excellent. A `Wow!` night out. Come back soon!

The Regal is a great venue.
The elevated stage means that you have no problem in seeing the act, and the sound system is good. The auditorium bar is extremely convenient, and the staff, I am pleased to say are all very pleasant.
We were able to park around the corner, and our 20 mile trip is only 45 minutes.
We had a very enjoyable evening.

A lovely venue with very happy staff who worked hard to keep customers happy. We don't live in Evesham but travelled to see the show. I wish we had somewhere like this in our local town.

Excellent, quirky venue! Staff were lovely too. However, the stage is very high, so don't book front row seats! Also watch out for the bar prices which are a little steep. Otherwise an excellent evening and will definitely be returning.

Dear Andy, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your recent visit and thank you for your feedback - our traditional cinema layout is quite different to our live event temporary layout, with cabaret style tables and large comfortable armchairs downstairs. We look forward to seeing you again and if you call/email us, our team would be happy to help you select the best seating area for your own preferences! Best wishes, The Regal

Our visit to the Regal in Evesham to watch the Ukele Orchestra of Great Britain was our first time there.
I must say that the whole event far exceeded our expectations. Warmly greeted on arrival, pleasant atmosphere and clearly marked, comfortable seating with plenty of leg room. Prior to the performance we were all greeted by the friendly manager who clearly explained the facilities and safety arrangements.
The performance by the Ukele Orchestra was pure quality from a professional world touring group of musicians.
The Regal in Evesham is a real jewel and such an invaluable asset to the whole of the region.
We shall certainly be returning in the not too distant future !

I love this place, for a very special cinema experience. Ideal for an ultra-relaxed outing, daytime or evening. Meet up with your friends and allow plenty of time to enjoy the cafe-bar food and drinks. Convenient public carpark behind the cinema. I just attended my first gig at the Regal. Well, the room was packed and the atmosphere was brilliant. Well done to the staff, who were super-attentive. Special shoutout to Michael and Grace, for outstanding customer service.

Don't let anyone persuade you that the regal cinema seating arragement downstairs is anything other than cramped, uncomfortable and thoroughly unsuitable for live performances. The stage is too high, the seats are too close together the rows are too narrow, access is poor (from one side only). The sound system is not even average, I spent most of the evening distracted by someone tapping along to Rick Wakeman's playing as the sound just didn't "fill" the auditorium. It might be quaint and good looking on the website but the reality is far away from the clever PR.
Avoid this venue if you can't get seats upstairs (they dont sell single tickets in the balcony). I had a thoroughy unenjoyable evening and most likely, this my first, and very much looked forward to visit, will be my last.

Thanks for your review and we are so sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience at our venue. We generally have five star reviews and everyone else seems really happy with their experience and do have 90 of our usual, luxurious balcony seats in the circle that can be purchased as single seats. If you would like to discuss further so we can learn from your experience, I’m happy to talk. Sue Wiper 07932 040363

Can I purchase tickets at door
The Regal
Evesham, UK
Hi, yes tickets can be purchased on the door but we do recommend you book in advance so you don't miss out on your favourite seats and you get a choice of what we have available. By booking in advance over the phone you can also get any food and drink waiting for you rather than queueing in the bars, saving you a lot of time.
