I visited Witley Court back in 1976 and I've never forgotten it. It was in the evening and we were the only people there. Visited here with my English Heritage membership. Dogs are allowed on leads so was a great place to take the dogs for a wander and have a picnic (which they allow you to bring in). I first visited Witley Court some 8 years ago before lottery funding restored the vast fountains. Pick a sunny day and arrive for the well publicised times of the fountain firings - they are truly spectacular.
