I live 5 minutes away from Llancaiach Fawr and decided to go there one Saturday. I hadn't been there since I was a child but me and my partner had a lovely day out. Followed up a suggestion on the forum and took the family here. So glad we went! The '17th century servants' showed us around the house, and talked about the family, and life generally. They stayed in character throughout, and spoke to us as though we too were from the 17th century. Sometimes it was interesting, and sometimes extremely funny too.... more
