This Elizabethan house is maintained by CADW. Our pass gave us entry to this house which was a large complex including gardens and a well. Most of the rooms had been recreated and furnished for the Elizabethan era. Some of the wooden floors were original and creaked as we walked on them. It is a must see in Conwy. Very well maintained with all those small details from a regular home like fresh herbs in the kitchen and the rooms with bed linen and the table ready for a meal. Makes anyone travel back in time. More
