We bought a ticket to see Plas Mawr along with our Conwy Castle ticket. My husband and I were completely surprised at how excellent the visit was. From the street, Plas Mawr looks pretty small, but it goes on and on. Through courtyards and passageways it shows life in the age of Charles I, although the building itself is an Elizabethan Merchants House (on a grand scale) Complete with furnishing of the time and enthusiastic staff that bring it all to life.
