It is a steep climb up to the top of Dinas Bran, but the spectacular views are worth it! On a clear day you can see for miles and it overlooks the lovely town of Llangollen. The views are incredible. The ruins are very interesting and give it a magical, mysterious effect. It makes you feel like you are stepping...

A good walk with lovely views. Be careful if you're not too fit as it is very uphill, but good exercise!

Very long steep climb from the abbey campsite at the bottom but spectacular views from the top and well worth the effort. Interesting ruins and history.

I did this walk with my boyfriend and realised just how unfit I actually was! It doesn't look much from below, but the walk up hill is really tough on your legs but when you get to the top the views are so gorgeous and stunnung. You can see for miles on a clear day. If I did it again...

Only a short ascent to brilliant views on a clear day. Llangollen is well worth a visit, the river, canal and town area area are very pleasant to walk around. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.

it was a tough walk up on the knees, and down on the thigh muscles, but well worth it for the views, solitude and scenery. There are a few benches on the way so very useful.

Many memories of Dinas Bran which can be seen from a distance when entering Llangollen along the A5 from Wrexham.
May I mention that Castell Dinas Bran is in ruins, following a non too easy climb some may be disappointed if they didn't know!
If its a sunny day, you are fit and healthy and enjoy history and the outdoors...
