I entered this mine with another adult and four children ranging from 4 to 16. I had seen a warning sign about the 180 steps to climb and as I have visited several mines in North Wales I was not worried about my family being completely safe. My visit to the mine eas about 5 years ago, and I found it interesting, enjoyable and informative. Ideal for the damp and miserable days, because the trip is all under ground. I think that the mine is well worth a visit, and shall no doubt visit it again when I am next on holiday in North Wales. more
The Sygun Copper Mine is a fun place to visit, particularly for those with children. (As long as they are not afraid of dark spaces!)
