Wonderful location - even on a wet day. The mine is presented as was at the end of production. Really made an impact regarding conitions of the day. More

The copper-mine is quite difficult to reach for the disabled. The information is acceptable, but we would like to have the opportunity to purchase Welsh copper, but there were was no opportunity when we visited. More

At 9£ + 1£ card charge, one can reasonably expect a fairly interesting experience lasting well over half an hour. However, to our disappointment, it was very short; lasting no more than 20 minutes, and i honestly regard this as a complete waste of both time and money. Further more, upon completing the tour there is the option of a... More

We just returned from a 2-week UK trip over the Easter holidays. This mine was not only the worst attraction on the trip, but probably the worst attraction I have ever visited. I have been using TripAdvisor for years, and because of this attraction, this is my first review on TripAdvisor! I echo the other 'Terrible' reviews - False advertising,... More

An interesting opportunity to learn about mining in Snowdonia in a well presented experience. Hard hats a must. Quite difficult section climbing very, very steep stairs means that this isn't accessible to all. A pleasingingly honest attraction - no gimmicks but better for that. More

My husband and I visited the Sygun Copper Mine during a walk on our Snowdonia holiday. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tour. It must cost a lot of money to keep the mine safe, so we felt the £9 per adult entrance fee was fully justified. It would be a great place to go with kids... More

A great set-up, informative audio link in the mine with many attractions including cameos of copper miners within their working environment. What an eye-opener, they really did work so hard for so little. There is something for the young and the not so young, including gold panning! Staff members very helpful, good cafe, shop and museum with dinosaur eggs on... More
