You must at least once in your life go to the island of Skomer it is fantastic. Try to go May to August to get the best of the flowers and birds. The seascapes are breathaking! A must not miss experience! More

Great place to photograph Puffins nesting (in June and July only). Good hiking and beautiful coastal views! Be aware. . . very little in the way of facilities and creature comforts though. Essentially no trees and little shade or shelter in bad weather. Bring your own food and water. A true "roughing it" experience. More

The wildlife is amazing! It is certainly worth the visit. I have never seen anything like this in any other country before. Skomer Island is most famous for its colonies of nesting seabirds, seals can be spotted as well. Wick Valley is especially good, you can see nesting wild puffins very closely.
