The previous reviews are a mixture of comments on Broad Haven, Bosherston and Broad Haven near Haverfordwest. Both beaches are fantastic and completely different from the other. Broad Haven, Bosherston is completely unspoilt and the best way to view it is to walk along the path from the Lily Ponds, turn on to the beach and the view is spectacular... More

Lovely Pembrokeshire village. The beach has great rock pools for looking in, always find some fish in them, and beach is very safe and have life guards in the summer. Spent allot of time here as a child and had a great time there, good for families. There are lovely walks around the area, and if you catch the tide,... More

I have used this beach for years, and brought my children down on numerous occasions for a day at the beach. Recently the National parks have put their parking fees up to £5 for the whole day, bit pricey if you concidder that they haven't markeed out parking bays in the main car-park, and there is no attendant to see... The beach at Broad Haven is perfect for the family. It has soft, golden sand. It has a shallow little rivulet running from beneath the promenade to the sea which is ideal for the littlest children to play in within sight of Mum and Dad. The tide comes right up to the promenade. The tide also goes out far enough... More

All beautifully soft sand and hardly any stones so great for the little ones. The water gathers in pools and is warmer than the sea. You can either park at broad haven beach car park which is national trust or park at bosherton and walk through the lily ponds. We will certainly be returning to this beach and barafundle beach.... If your staying in or near Tenby, I would highly recommend driving to Bosherton Car Park (National trust car park) . Walk down the footpath towards the Water Lilly ponds, Go across two causeways, then across a small bridge. The Water Lilly ponds are a real Gem, we were there in November, so No water lily’s, but it is so... More

We went to broadhaven beach in October last year, not warm enough for a dip but there were some surfers enjoying the water, my children quickly made their way towards the rockpools of which there are loads and of good quality, there are also caves into the slate at one end of the beach. I could imagine it to be... More
