It was easy to find because its near the road. There is enough parking space but be on time. We were in april and that is not the high season and it was still very busy. You have to walk 10 minutes to the hiding places ( but you can also stay outside ). Stay a little bit longer you... More

We love this place and so do the children. Watching the birds is amazing. It's not like feeding the penguins at some nasty zoo enclosure! The whole point is to support them only as much as they need. As they are carrion birds and we are in lambing season, without going into gory detail, there is plenty of food for... More

Watching these birds on the wing was a great sight and it was a great feeling of anticpation hearing the tractor approach with its feed. there is also a very pleasant walk around the site and very friendly staff. Not a place to take easily distracted children though as some of the twitchers take their pursuit very seriously! More

We arrived too late to get into the hides due to roadworks at several places on our journey so we watched from the picnic area and saw just how far way some o fthese huge birds were coming from. More

I'm a keen photographer and want to broaden my portfolio, especially nature/birds. I was aware of this Attraction and visited on Sunday 19th February. As advised, we arrived early and had a hearty meal; some of my party had sandwiches, some had soup. All the food was freshly prepared, hot and very tasty. It was very reasonable too so I... More

A rare spectacle for anyone to see; literally dozens of these magnificent creatures fly in, and you can see them circling for some time before the feeding takes place. However, I was quite concerned after talking to a farmer, about the reason for this being necessary in the first place. Sheep farmers now have to pay to have dead animals... More

Part of my birthday gift from my Partner was a trip to Wales this has been made even more memorable by the visit to the Red Kite feeding centre. We took our time travelling across the National Park to the Red Kite coffee shop where we were given a warm welcome and soon tucked into coffee cake (delicious). We made... More
