This is a fantastic museum, with so much to see in a beautiful setting. However, they don't really like children/young people, and have a very negative attitude to them. I took a party of 12/13 yr olds on a visit - there were 12 of them plus myself and 2 17 yr olds, and they were very unpleasnt to us.... more

had a great time at this free open air museum, loads for me and the kids to do, free to get in which is a bonus, but you do have to pay car parking. Will definitely be back! more

I was rather disappointed when I visited with my parents - my father, not a heavyweight, being confined to a wheelchair. We followed the paths marked as "suitable for wheelchairs"; most of which were gravel paths. Pushing a wheelchair uphill is not easy! When we went to the restaurant only the upper floor was open accessible by a very steep... more

I went with my partner and mother in law on sunday to st fagans as a day out on my birthday and it was brilliant. It is free of charge to enter with only the price of the car park at £3 to pay for. You will definitely need the whole day to walk around and appreciate it all. Its... more

We entered the park for just £3, the price of the car park. It was great to be able to see different houses and cottages from all part of Wales in one park. We really enjoyed the place and when we thought we have seen everything, we realised there was another park with magnificent gardens and a lovely castle. There... more

St Fagans takes a whole day to visit. We went round the old houses in the morning, and the castle section in the afternoon. There is a small bakery on site where you can buy freshly baked bread etc. Dogs can go in which is a real bonus. Only downside is that there is nowhere to eat outside unless you... more

This was a fantastic museum which can keep most people entertained for several hours. A fascinating insight to the history of welsh life. It also lets the visitor reflect on the change of buildings and interiors over the ages in all of Britain. The highlight of the visit was at the renactment of an ancient celtic settlement where a guy (who... more

Thoroughly recommended and entry is free, you only pay for parking, best value day out I have had in ages. There is a pedestrian... more

A friend recommended that I go to St Fagans/Museum of Welsh Life and I was NOT disappointed! It would probably not be as fun on a rainy day - the weather was amazing for me and this was mid-October - but this place is awesome. It's on 104 acres, they relocate Welsh homes from the Welsh countryside - everything from... more
