We had seen a number of CADW castles, but this is really different - a fairy-tale castle just outside Cardiff. In many ways it is better the Cardiff Castle as the experience is more intense. Definitely worth seeing. More

Saw a couple get married here and it was incredibly romantic. For tourists it's reasonably cheap entry. Nice walk up from the pub at the bottom of the hill if your legs can cope! Space outside to eat a picnic, visit on a nice day. More

Old castle rebuilt in 19th centry in the style of a medieval castle. Definately a folly, well worth a few hours - we weren't fit enough to do all of the spiral staircases! More
