Barman was incredibly rude and looked visibly offended when I pointed out a glass we were given was dirty. Played monty and roman road, the monty was like the Faldo I. Portugal and had some beast holes loved it maybe best Iv holes Iv played. Love this kind of course and is right up there in my books. Disliked the rain, loved the atmosphere. This is golf at it's finest, even a Ryder Cup was played at Celtic Manor. Very nice clubhouse, nice lockerrooms, nice bar area. Great experience. More

the hotel was clean and very friendly,the staff were so helpul and would do anything for us.the veiws were stunning over the english channel and the view of the severn bridge were stunning to.the golf course was huge. the food on offer was hot and fresh and was so much of it.the stay was supperb More

Too busy with children on a weekend to enjoy as a 'spa' break. Also wasn't very warm when we were there! More

The 2010 course is hopeless in terms of getting a snack. We left before our order was taken. The other Club house is better. But average food for the money charged. More

So overarated! how on earth can a 5 star hotel microwave Beefburgers at lunchtime, especiall after charging £14 each for them! Never ever again will I visit a place that lives off the reputation of hosting a golf competition of some sort. There are oplenty of other equally nice venuse that serve better food at a much more realistic price. More
