I didn 't realise that such stunning coastline existed in the UK. This is such a special place. From the golden sanded beach below, over the glowing green cliff edges dotted with sheep and lambs to the overhang at Worms Head, staring out to sea and skywards it is awesome and big enough to accommodate the visitors that are drawn... It has been a long time since I was here, but to return for those spectacular views was a worthwhile trip. It was a pity that the causeway across to worms head was starting to be covered by the sea, otherwise we would have walked across. Next time I shall make sure I check the tide times etc so we... I'm not a religious person but only the Devine could have made Rhossili bay & the worms head. Born & raised in the Gower it never fails to take my breath away and that's just the steps up from the beach. Three miles of golden sand and views from the headland that are awe inspiring. Take a walk out to... More

It was a pretty day and walked out to the overlook at Worm's Head. Wasn't enough time to hike out to the point. There are pretty views, but it's a hike to get down to the beach. More

You need good legs to get to the beach but it's worth it. Private car park currently £3 for a car. Plenty of places to eat, National trust shop, and a bracing walk to Worms Head if you don't wish to go down to the beach. Stunning views. More

Until this visit I didn't realise the UK possessed 3-mile sandy beaches. More

Stunning scenery. We had a fantastic walk to Worm's Head, although the tide did not allow us to go over there. We walked down the numerous steps onto Rhossili beach and that was the easy bit, coming back up was a different story, but worth it! There are a few little cafes and a lovely little gift shop. Fantastic place! More
