We ran in here to escape the rain - a rather odd collection of different topics from coal mining to the manic street preachers! Ok for an hour but wouldn't hold your interest much beyond that.

Exhibits interesting to adults with curiousity about Wales' coal mining history but did not engage a 12 year old boy at all, despite his interest in machinery. Long distances between exhibition areas.

This is part of the National Museums of Wales and is full of interesting information about the maritime heritage of Swansea and the surrounding area. Lots of displays and a good cafe. Staff are very friendly and informative. They have frequent art exhibitions too.
