I learned a lot from this visit. We went for a 50 minute tour underground. The guy (Wayne) who took us on the tour was a mine of information and also very jovial. more

A brilliant place to visit, 3adults and 2 children,aged 7 and 10,and we all really enjoyed ourselves there.We liked the underground tour especially,approx 50mins,very interesting,plenty to explore above ground also,with the pit head baths etc!,we will definately be returning in the future.A facinating insight into the history of mining! and everything's free! (apart from the gift shop and cafe).My only... more
