This place is full of modern history, we visited the area on the open top bus and the information that the tour guide had was great. More

As a recent visitor to Belfast, I did a bus tour which took in shankhill Road. This was really interesting and the history was eye-opening. Couldn't help but feel unsettled at all the memorials dotted about. If you are visiting Belfast, this story is a must! More

Little to offer, closed shops, depressed people, nothing of value to go up or down, waste of 15 minutes of your life that you wont get back....avoid More

A Black Cab guide took us on a most facinating tour of this area and gave us a splendid replay of events, as he grew up in The Troubles! More

I must admit I was a little worried about visiting this area of Belfast but I found the area fascinating. It is well worth a visit. The murals along the wall are amazing and its so nice to see how much things have changed over the years. More

Interesting, but deprived, area to visit. We did one trip on our own but learnt a lot more when we went with Joe McCullough from Belfast Mural Tours. More

Although rated very good, it is not a term to use in relation to this area. Sadness is the word that springs to mind when touring this area which divides a city. I went on a Black Taxi Tour and the driver was able to impart the history of the roads and explain the murals. The wall and its gates... More

Both Shankill and Falls Roads are unable to let go of the past and move on to build a modern society. Parts of the peace lines are still there, windows on Newtonards Road have mesh over their windows. Wall paintings still glorify violence. More
