The free and renovated museum covers both the history of Lisburn as well as how linen is made from flax. Nice artifacts and good demonstrations. Lots of activities for children. In an addition there is an excellent gift shop with many beautiful linen items, and a great cafe with sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, etc. A beautiful building located right in... More

Behind the apparently plain topic, an exceptional historic and social educational experience. It reveals the surprisingly wide scope of the linen industry in Northern Ireland in the XIX century.
