Tells the story of the Seige of Derry very well,with a tour of what could be the best meeting rooms in any part of Ireland,when walking round the Walls of Derry the hall is well worth a visit.The hall is open June to October,ask for a personnel tour from one of the guides. More

Often overlooked, but an essential piece in the city's history. Whereas the Museum of Free Derry shows the nationalist/republican modern history, the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall shows the Unionist/Loyalist and mid-history of the city. Book in advance. More

Friendly volunteer helpers. Good presentations and interesting memorabilia. This is not a museum with large resources, but is still well worth seeing. More

A short introduction to the story of the Siege of Derry, this museum is free and located just within the old city walls. It has a few videos to show, but the sound is overlapping the different stations if several people are watching different videos at the same time. Many thanks to Norman (appropriately dressed!) who presented a superb historical backdrop to the fantastic walls and fascinating history of Derry. The tour was complete pleasure for our group of adults and children, and provided a unique "feel" for the city and its history.
