I went here on Tuesday evening with my mother, we were seated in the stalls and niether of us could see half of what was happening on the stage, It is shocking that in this day and age a theatre can actually charge for seats that have little view of the stage. More

This is the best place in the city for the theatre going public but we - as locals - know to book early as the best seats in the Dress Circle always go first. Many good companies come here to put on a huge scope of entertainment but you have to be quick and keep an eye on the What's... More

The only thing that lets the theatre down is by allowing people to drink while seated during the shows. More

I Dreamed a Dream was excellent, even though I was pretty aware of Susan Boyle's history, there were moments that still caught me out - had a tear in my eye. Elaine C Smith did a terrific job and even though many people waited in anticipation of Susan Boyle appearing - she didn't, that did not detract from an excellent... More

My wife and I go to the theatre every couple of months. We just saw An Inspector Calls and it was fabulous! We used to get our seats in the Dress Circle but found the Front Stalls offered a good view and little more leg room. Productions asside, the building is stunning and always beautifully maintained. Get there a little... More
