Being an Aberdeen citizen I am disappointed in myself that it took me so long to visit the Maritime Museum! I have been several times since my first visit as it is a most enjoyable place. A great insight into an important part of Aberdeen. More

Being from the oil industry myself, found this museum a tribute to anything maritime; and Aberdeen certainly does have the history to show for it. And surprisingly, it's definitely not boring. More

Well worth a visit, although some of the displays are a little dated (from 15 years ago). Lots of interesting stuff on history and development of Aberdeen, and how the oil industry works and has affected the city. Not as interactive as more recent museums, but 3D film was good and up to date. More

Visited the Maritime Museum in Aberdeen whilst the girls were shopping at Easter.!! I am not really a museum person but I found this place to be a facinating experience. So much information on every floor from fishing to oil. Everything is well laid out with super visual displays. The Titanic information was really interesting. The whole place will keep... More

We visited the museum whilst waiting for our ferry to Lerwick and found it very interesting,it was great that there was a free museum on the harbour front that detailed all of the history of Aberdeen as a port and had stories and tales of local sailors, pictures of boats that had been built here, docked here and even lost here and...
