I wanted to add this review for those of us who don't ride and might like to visit Balmedie on two legs rather than four. Firstly there is lots of parking (20p for an hour / 50p up to 4 hours), even on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the school holidays...The beach itself is easy to access if walking, either... more
Went to Balmedie Beach yesterday for the first time in years with my friend and two horses, was extremely dissapointed in the dangerous entry CLEARLY marked out for horses only entrance onto beach, to get to the beach we either had to walk in a stream that was in parts very deep and the pedestrian wooden walkway had collapsed into... more
