I have lived in Aberdeen, approximately ten minute walk away from the beautiful beach nature has given us, since January 2012. Most of the time, especially during the colder months, the beach is immaculate and beautiful. What else can I except from a city sea beach? It is in the heart of this city. Good sandy beech. There are lot of free parking spaces. Cinema hall, plenty of food shops are there. It has free toilet facility. Anyway, you cannot expect warm weather here because of the location.

We had a lovely walk along the beach whilst killing time between our ferry arriving from Lerwick and our coach home to London and fortunately for us the sun was shining which made for a pleasant stroll along the beach,it's very clean and well kept and its a beautiful sight to see the clean,white sand stretching along the coastline.

Lots of eateries and entertainment to be had. Very busy, even on a cold day, but a lovely place to walk and chill out. Go there most days even if only driving past.
